Want to train to fight on a white collar MMA event?
White Collar MMA is for novice fighters looking to fight other novices
20ft cage

You could be a office worker, builder or even a doctor who cant train full time but wants to give fighting a go in a safe environment

You will be matched against a opponent of similar standard
The fighter has got to have never fought amateur boxing/muay thai/mma but interclub level or grappling comp's are ok.
Train to get fit and learn new skills
The show will be aimed at a fun atmosphere open to families.

White Collar MMA Fighting Rules

The match is fought over 3 x 2 minute rounds.
The match takes place in a 20ft Octagon.
If there is no workrate or submission on the ground the competitors will resume from a standing position.

Fouls:

  • No ground and pound to the head.
  • No strikes to the throat at all.
  • No biting gouging or fishhooking.
  • No attacking less than four fingers or toes.
  • No headbutting/hairpulling.
  • No joint strikes i.e. to elbows or knees.
  • No groin strikes.
  • No kicks on the ground to the head and the body.
  • No elbow strikes at all.
  • No knees to the head standing.
  • No knees to the head on the floor.
  • No fingers or hands on opponents face or throat.
  • No throws that aims your opponents head to hit on the ground.
  • No holding on to the cage.
  • No oil or vaseline to be applied.
  • Any techniques applied in a dangerous manner will lead to disqualification.

Attacks:

  • All kicks to head and body standing .
  • All punches to head and body standing.
  • All knees to the body standing.
  • On the ground punches and knees to the body and legs only.
  • On the ground kick to the legs only.
  • All throws and takedowns.

Ways to Win:

  • By submission(tapping out).
  • By knockout.
  • Referees or Doctors Intervention.
  • Opponents corner man throws in the towel.
  • By points decision.
  • Excessive fouling or leaving the ring will lead to disqualification.

Fighters Attire:

  • Gloves: 8onz gloves
  • Head guard
  • Gum shield.
  • Groin guard.
  • Shorts, Trousers or Gi's.
  • Shin guards
